Entrepreneurs and Innovators assemble: Spark Festival begins September 2
The Spark Festival is a not-for-profit, grassroots celebration of entrepreneurship and innovation that brings together a diverse range of individuals and organizations for a week of free events, workshops, and networking opportunities.
Whether you're a startup founder looking to raise capital or an individual seeking inspiration for your next big idea, Spark Festival has something for everyone. Events will be held across innovation hubs in Sydney, greater New South Wales, and online, making it easy for anyone to participate.
Beginning in 2016 as the Sydney Startup Festival, The Spark Festival has since grown into a vibrant week of events for the community of startup founders, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across New South Wales and beyond. As a not-for-profit, grassroots festival and community, Spark brings together startups, investors, small to medium-sized enterprises, government, corporates, and innovators to share knowledge, make connections, and drive impact.
The festival, taking place from September 2 to 6, 2024, is the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in entrepreneurship and innovation to get inspired, learn new skills, and connect with like-minded individuals. With over 60 events to choose from, attendees can select free events that align with their interests and goals.
One of the unique aspects of Spark Festival is its commitment to accessibility. The majority of events are free to attend, ensuring that anyone can join in, regardless of their financial situation. This inclusive approach allows individuals from diverse backgrounds to come together, share ideas, and learn from each other.
The festival's main program launch will take place on September 2, and attendees can plan their festival week by browsing events by category on the Spark Festival website.
Spark Festival is made possible through the support of various organizations, including the City of Sydney, ACS Labs, Harbour City Labs, Department of Industry, Science and Resources, Herbert Smith Freehills, Stone and Chalk, NetNada, Startup&Angels, UTS Graduate Research, TURO, CTRLPrint, and Pledge 1%.
