Entries are now open for the 2024 InnovationAus Awards for Excellence, to honor Australia’s leading entrepreneurs and innovators. Now in its fourth year, the awards highlight the achievements across a variety of industries including cybersecurity, energy and renewables, manufacturing, and software.

These awards are a prime opportunity to recognize the groundbreaking work of startups and SMEs driving the new economy nationwide. The awards event culminates in a black-tie gala at The Venue Alexandria in Sydney, bringing together key figures from government, industry, and academia.

Judging the awards is a distinguished panel of leaders from various sectors including venture capital, finance, research, academia, startups, and corporates. The judges for the 2024 awards will be announced in the coming weeks. Past judges have included some of the most respected names in their fields.

Last year, BluGlass and its CEO Jim Haden were honored with the Australian Hero Award, joining previous winners such as Samsara Eco’s Paul Riley, Q-CTRL’s Michael Biercuk, and Sea Forest’s Sam Elsom, who shared the award in the inaugural year. Other notable winners include Advanced Navigation, Synchron, DroneShield, Five Cast, Quantum Brilliance, and Gilmour Space.

By participating, companies can showcase their innovations, connect with investors and policymakers, and gain significant exposure.
