University of Newcastle and TRaCE launch free Hydrogen Safety Awareness course
The 45-minute Hydrogen Safety Awareness course, led by Professor Behdad Moghtaderi, is designed to educate professionals on hydrogen safety, production, storage, and transport.
The University of Newcastle and the Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE) have introduced a short course on Hydrogen Safety Awareness aimed at professionals and those interested in hydrogen technology. The online course, delivered by Laureate Professor Behdad Moghtaderi, covers essential aspects of working with hydrogen.
Participants will learn about hydrogen safety, including key terminology and basic principles of hydrogen production, storage, and transport. The course also addresses the risks and potential consequences of hydrogen-related incidents.
At the end of the presentation, participants are required to complete a short quiz. Upon successful completion, they will receive a certificate.
The course is available to everyone, not just those affiliated with the University of Newcastle or UNSW. Interested individuals can find the enrollment guide online.
This initiative is part of TRaCE’s educational efforts to enhance workforce skills in the recycling and clean energy sectors, targeting all levels from apprentices to PhD candidates.
