As hydrogen and methane blending in natural gas networks grows, pure hydrogen or pure natural gas may be needed at the point of use. As a result, efficient separation technologies will be needed to provide for users with who require high purity supplies.

This Future Fuels CRC project with researchers at the University of Melbourne has developed a novel method to separate hydrogen from natural gas by pressure swing adsorption technology to satisfy the requirements of users who need high purity hydrogen or high purity natural gas.

Join Gang Kevin Li associate professor at the University of Melbourne and principal investigator of its Clean Energy Laboratory, to learn insights into the challenges of gas separation and their novel process to deliver higher separation efficiency and low operational costs.

The webinar will feature research from Future Fuels CRC’s project RP1.3-02 and include a brief introduction to separation technologies and the research opportunities to further enable this part of the future fuels sector.
