Unexplored Aspects of the Energy Transition
This event will share unexplored perspectives of the energy transition. Join the UNSW Digital Grid Futures Institute for a series of talks, case studies and a panel discussion.
Australia's clean energy transition is globally significant. As consumers we can participate in, and be a fundamental part of, the future infrastructure through rooftop solar, electric cars and home batteries.
Abundant solar and natural resources provide seemingly unlimited potential for large scale renewable infrastructure, and the furious speed of innovation and change is exciting. However, the transition is fraught with unexplored consequences and risk if we don't fully consider the plethora of social impacts.
This showcase event will explore the human considerations of the energy transition that will feature in our daily lives for generations.
Join from 2pm for talks, case studies, a panel discussion and Q&A, followed by networking until 6.30pm.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the event.
Detailed agenda coming soon.
Please note: this event is in-person only with strictly limited capacity and will not be streamed or available online. Registration is essential.
